Modwood Timber

What is ModWood?

Made from recycled wood and plastic, ModWood products are wood composites. They look and feel like natural timber, but require none of the maintenance of traditional woods. You will not need to paint or stain ModWood products as they already come in a range of stylish natural colours and grains and will maintain their beauty for years to come.

Manufactured and formulated in Australia for Australia’s extreme weather, ModWood products are designed not to warp, crack or splinter. They require no sanding, sealing or painting for long term protection.

With ModWood’s 10 year limited residential warranty, you can step with confidence and security under foot.

WR Timbers are stockists of the full Modwood range.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Modwood change colour over time?
ModWood does undergo some weathering when exposed to the elements. Whilst undergoing the weathering process the wood fibres will change to a silver grey colour. This adjusts the overall depth of colour of the board by lightening the colour. This is more noticeable on the smooth face and will primarily happen during the first couple of months of installation. The ‘brushed’ finish colour will not change much, however the imprint of the embossed lines will lighten in colour.
